Biomaterials, unless treated with moisture resistant coatings, will continuously absorb and releases ambient moisture — creating an opportunity to passively regulate indoor humidity.
A multi-dimensional room divider made from hemp particle board and biomaterial sheets felt like an appropriate application for these materials.
