In 2023, San Francisco based design studio PROWL created the PEEL chair — a compostable chair made entirely from hemp to address fast furniture pollution. The body of the chair is made with hemp PLA by M4 Factory in Chicago.
My focus was to develop cushions for the chair (hemp fiber encased in hemp and algae biopolymer).
